![]() I did confirm that I can access the Internet from my phone and that my phone's data plan was turned on. There was an error message in Chrome saying something about DNS Servers. Step 1: Turn ON Bluetooth Tethering on Mobile. Wrong! While I have a stable Wifi-connection/BT-connection, the iPad just won't connect to the Internet. It would seem that I now can use the Internet from my iPad. ![]() I was able to successfully pair my phone with my iPad both ways (though not at once, obviously). If the Bluetooth tile says 'Off,' click it to turn it on. PC: Click the Action Center (the squared notification icon to the right of the clock, sometimes with a number on it). There are options on the S3 Mini to share internet connection via Wifi (creating a hotspot) or Bluetooth. Mac: Open the Apple menu, select System Preferences, click Bluetooth, select your Android, and click Connect to pair. ![]() Unfortunately I cannot get my Samsung Galaxy S3 (Mini) to work with my iPad. Step 2: Next, pair your Android device and Mac. After setting your Wi-Fi hotspot password, tap SAVE. My thinking was that I would mostly use Wifi and (after a salesperson showed how easy it is to create a hotspot for iPad using your phone's connection) on those rare occasion I wouldn't have access to it and needed to be connected, I would do some tethering. You can do this by tapping the Set up Wi-Fi hotspot as shown in Step 1. ![]()
